ⓘWhat do the confidence tiers mean?High confidenceMedium confidenceValue pickLow confidence▾
For every match, the AI picks a "Best Pick" and grades it by how confident it is:
- High confidenceThe model's most confident, most robust pick, with the highest hit rate (usually backing the market favorite — lower odds, smaller return).
- Medium confidenceA moderately confident, near-coin-flip pick.
- Value pickBacks the higher-odds side the model thinks the market underrates; lower hit rate, but a bigger payout when it lands (high value-for-money).
- Low confidenceFootball only: the model's predicted winner has under a 45% win probability — an evenly matched, hardest-to-call game. The card still shows the AI-favored side for reference, but we don't treat these as a main pick (the track record only counts high/medium confidence).
Why do some football matches have no value pick?
Football is harder than sports with a clear winner — there's the extra "draw" variable, and odds are often either too high (underdogs) or too low (heavy favorites), leaving the hardest-to-judge middle range most common.
So we only make a "value pick" when the odds fall in a range that backtests prove is profitable long-term AND it's positive EV (+EV); otherwise we'd rather stay silent than force a call.
Every card has full odds, win-rate and EV analysis — a value pick is just an extra AI-curated bonus; its absence doesn't mean there's nothing there.
※ All three tiers are positive-EV (+EV) picks from the model; the difference is backing favorites (high/medium confidence, steady) vs underdogs (value pick, higher odds). Football 1X2 picks are tiered by backtest-validated odds ranges; other markets and NBA/MLB by each pick's model win rate and odds.
